Questions
Who can become a partner?
Creators with at least 2,000 followers or subscribers on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, a blog, a newsletter or a course or community, whose audience includes Amazon or e-commerce sellers. You apply from your dashboard and we review every application by hand, usually within 3 business days.
I don't have 2,000 followers. Can I still earn?
Yes. Every SourceSpot user gets an invite link. Your friends get 20% off their first paid month, and you get a $5 credit on your SourceSpot bill for each friend who pays.
How long does my link last?
When someone clicks your link, we remember it for 60 days. If they create an account in that time, they are yours.
How much can I earn?
30% of every payment for 12 months from that customer's first payment. A Pro customer on the monthly plan earns you about $9.00 a month, up to about $108 in a year. There is no cap on how many customers you refer.
What if a customer cancels and comes back?
Commission stops while they are not paying. If they come back within 12 months of their first payment, you earn again until those 12 months end.
When do I get paid?
Each commission is held 30 days, because customers can ask for a refund in the first 7 days. After that it is ready to pay. We pay by PayPal at the start of each month when you have at least $50 ready.
What about refunds?
If a customer gets a refund, the commission for that payment is cancelled.
Partner terms
- Who can join. The partner program is for creators with at least 2,000 real followers or subscribers on one channel, page, site, newsletter or community. We review each application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. Bought or fake followers lead to removal.
- Commission. You earn 30% of each payment a referred customer makes for SourceSpot Starter or Pro, after discounts and before taxes, for 12 months from that customer’s first payment.
- Who counts as your referral. A person who clicks your link and creates a new SourceSpot account within 60 days. Existing accounts and your own accounts do not count.
- Holding and payouts. Commissions are held 30 days. Payable commissions are sent by PayPal at the start of each month once they total at least $50 USD. You are responsible for your own taxes.
- Refunds and chargebacks. Commission on a refunded or disputed payment is cancelled. If it was already paid, we may take it from your next payout.
- How you promote. Be honest. Say you earn a commission. Do not make income promises, spam, run ads on the SourceSpot name or misspellings of it, pretend to be SourceSpot, or offer cash back from your commission.
- Amazon. Do not suggest SourceSpot is made or approved by Amazon.
- Invite links for everyone. Users who are not partners earn a one-time $5 credit on their SourceSpot bill for each referred friend’s first payment. Credits have no cash value and cannot be paid out.
- Ending. You can leave any time. We may change these terms with 30 days’ notice, or close an affiliate account that breaks them; unpaid commissions earned honestly are still paid.
